As an entrepreneur you need to bring one or more of the following values to the business venture:
- Intellectual Property - This is usually some unique invention, technology, formula, research or something else that is hard to reproduce. A patent isn’t required to execute your idea so you shouldn’t let this stop you.
- Capital - You can invest money in the execution or can convince another investor to do so.
- Unique Relationship - You’re positioned to execute, sell, market, promote or license your product in a way that makes you unique and valuable as a business partner.
- Capability - While you may not be able to develop the product you bring some unique capability to the product and business relationship that makes you both essential and unique to the execution of the product.
